Meet Dr. Wayne

Dr. Wayne W. Loney Jr. is a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Dr. Loney graduated with honors and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

After earning his dental degree, Dr. Loney pursed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. His advanced training includes expertise in adult and pediatric general anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, surgical pathology, bone grafting and reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, and orthognathic surgery.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Loney is deeply committed to academia and research. He has taught and lectured on Biostatistical Analysis, published several peer-reviewed journal articles, and earned the Upjohn Research Achievement Award. He has also received NIH grants for his research in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Loney has held an academic appointment in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, further contributing to the field’s advancement. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Loney enjoys an active lifestyle that keeps him both physically and mentally sharp. He is passionate about fitness and often goes on long bike rides to stay in shape. An avid martial artist, Dr. Loney finds that this activity enhances his focus and self-discipline. During the winter months, he loves hitting the slopes for some skiing and exploring all that the mountain has to offer. Above all, Dr. Loney values time spent with his family, cherishing moments of relaxation and connection with his loved ones.
